For Teachers
If you are a teacher who wants to use Code Shrew in your classroom, you can invite your students to sign up for special student accounts (using a registration link that is unique to you). Those accounts work just like the regular Code Shrew accounts except:
- We won't ask the students for their e-mail address during registration. An arbitrary username and password are enough. That way the students won't be required to give out their personal information.
- You will be able to see a list of all your students that created an account. You will also be able to see their public profiles (i.e., their drawings and animations).
- If a student loses her or his password, you will be able to provide them with a password reset link.
- Your students will see a link to your public profile in their user menu (labeled "My teacher"). You can use your public profile to create project templates for your students to expand.
By the way, we would love to hear from you - let us know how you use Code Shrew in your classroom!
